Music Education Services (MES) provides comprehensive band programs to elementary schools.  

Mr. Bosak

Mr. Bosak was born in Poland and moved to Chicago with his family when he was in 8th grade.  He earned two Bachelor’s Degrees from Northwestern University, as well as a Master’s Degree in clarinet performance from Baylor University.  He’s been a member of several symphony orchestras in the Chicago area, in Texas and California.  He’s presently a member of two experimental music ensembles - the MAVerick Ensemble and Articular Facet.  He’s also active as a composer for visual media, and he’s collaborated with theatre companies in Chicago and scored a number of films in Illinois, Nevada and California.! ! Mr. Bosak is a passionate teacher who has taught at Francis W. Parker School, North Park Elementary School and with the Chicago Public Schools, and he is thrilled to teach band at Hawthorne Scholastic Academy.! ! In addition to music, Mr. Bosak’s favorite activities include biking, hiking, chess and classical cinema.  On his off days he likes to visit one of the many Chicagoland museums and galleries.  His artistic idols include Pink Floyd, Quincy Jones, Igor Stravinsky, Andrei Tarkovsky and Angelo Badalamenti.!
